Frequently Asked Questions

You are able to schedule a 15-minute introductory call by clicking the “Schedule an Introductory Call” button below.

During the 15-minute introductory call, you can expect a brief conversation where we discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, your goals, and any questions you may have about my approach or services. It’s an opportunity for us to get to know each other, determine if we’re a good fit, and decide on the next steps in your therapeutic journey.

Yes, I offer virtual therapy options for your convenience. There are no in-person options at this time.

I offer a range of mental health services to support individuals, families, and communities.

Clinical Services  focus on direct mental health treatment through:

  • Individual Counseling which offers individual support across the lifespan, starting in adolescence, to address anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and other emotional challenges.

  • Group Therapy which offers a supportive space for groups of individuals to connect, share experiences, and develop coping strategies with peer support and professional guidance.

  • Couples Counseling which involves helping partners improve communication, resolve conflicts, strengthen relationships, or amicably separate.

  • Family Therapy focuses on assisting families in navigating challenges, improve relational dynamics, and foster healthier relationships.

  • Diagnostic Assessments provide comprehensive interview style evaluations to assess mental health conditions and guide treatment planning.

These services are only available to residents of Maryland and involve licensed therapy, diagnosis, and treatment planning.

Mental Health Consulting Services focus on education, strategy, and resource development rather than direct treatment. These include:

  • Mental Health Consulting which provides informed guidance to individuals, organizations, schools, and businesses on mental health best practices.

  • Training & Workshops which entail educating professionals, workplaces, and communities on mental health awareness, resilience, and wellness strategies.

  • Psychoeducational Material Development which involves creating palatable resources to promote mental health literacy and informed decision-making.

Unlike clinical services, consulting does not involve diagnosis or therapy but instead offers strategic support, education, and resource development to enhance mental health awareness on a broader scale.

My goal is to provide personalized, high-quality care to support mental health and wellness across a variety of settings.

My partnership with Headway allows me to work with residents of Maryland who prefer to use insurance. I accept both Aetna and Cigna health insurance plans. In addition, I accept United Healthcare, Oscar Health and Oxford, all of which are under the Optum umbrella.

Through Headway, I am able to directly bill your insurance, and you'll only be responsible for any copayments, deductibles, or out-of-pocket expenses based on your plan.

For clients who are not using insurance, I offer private (self) pay options with competitive rates.

Private Pay Individual Sessions:

  • $195 for a 60-minute intake session
  • $160 for a 53-minute standard session
  • $85 for a 30-minute session

Private Pay Couples & Family Sessions:

  • $230 for a 70-minute intake session
  • $195 for a 60-minute standard session

Private pay payments for each appointment will be processed through your Client Portal by debit or credit card. All major credit and debit cards are accepted.  Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) cards are also accepted.

Please reach out if you have any questions about insurance coverage or payment options.

An intake session is a more in-depth, initial meeting where we gather important background information, discuss your goals, and assess any relevant history or current challenges. This session helps establish a solid foundation for our work together and typically carries a separate fee due to the additional time and detailed focus required.

A standard session is focused on ongoing therapy, where we address specific issues you’re working on and make progress toward your goals. It’s a shorter session compared to the intake, as we’re focused on applying strategies and continuing the work from previous sessions.
